The central pearls used are Japanese Akoya cultured pearls, with a bright lustre. These are surrounded by 8 brilliant cut diamonds and 8 sapphires in neat 18ct yellow gold claw settings. It is traditional posts and butterfly fittings that are used to secure the earrings.
Measures 7.7mm diameter for each pearl and the total earring 11.7mm diameter
