Solid Yew and burr yew 8 day Comitti triple chime mantel/table clock, with bell top sand hand cut corner fretwork. Brass folding handle and period stepped corner feet and magnetic door catch. Bevelled glass on all 4 sides allowing full view of the highly polished movement. Solid brass dial with silver plated chapter ring.

The case is all English Made from solid Yew and applied with a substantial burr yew veneer and beautifully hand polished. The high quality triple chime movement gives you a choice of St.Michael, Whittington and Westminster chimes. Chimes every quarter (building up the amount it plays each quarter) and then strikes the corresponding number on the hour. It uses a combination of 8 rods being struck by hammers to make the sound. The movements used in these are the extra sweet Kieninger high grade movements.

Fixed automatic Night shut off between 10pm and 7.15am

The hood is decorated with barley twist pillars and hand cut fret work. The solid brass dial has cherub spandrels, silver plated chapter ring and blue lacquered period hands. The marquetry panels are created using boxwood, pear wood, walnut, satinwood and black dyed sycamore. The cabinet has a hand rubbed waxed finish.
