The central ruby is surrounded by 12 brilliant cut diamonds, the setting is in a very neat earring, but full of fire and brightness. 2 Rubies = 0.49ct 24 Brilliant cut diamonds = 0.11ct Measures 5.5mm diameter | A single Akoya cultured pearl suspended from three modern brilliant cut diamonds graduating in size with 18ct white gold rub over settings on neat post fittings with secure high quality butterfly fittings. Akoya cultured pearls produce some of the finest pearls, with an almost perfect roundness, fine quality skin and beautiful lustre. Each diamond and pearl setting are hinged giving the earring the freedom of movement whilst being worn. 6 diamonds = 0.24carat Pearl = 7.7mm Length of drop earring = 18mm | The pair of butterflies in flight are made from 18ct yellow gold for the top and white gold for the lower butterfly. The lower butterfly being set with modern brilliant cut diamonds on the wings. These are made by Alabaster and Wilson of Birmingham Est 1887, makers of some of the finest quality pieces.
