Ruby and Diamond Vintage Cluster Plaque Ring, 18ct Gold Mount

This stunning oblong Ruby and Diamond plaque cluster ring is set with the added feature of 3 Real Pearls, the central smaller pearl is surrounded by 6 rubies and then the Victorian cut diamonds are set along the remainder of the ring, interspaced with a large Real Pearl at each ends. For both style and comfort the corners are cut at a 45 degree angle.
The ring is curved over the finger and sits very low to the finger. The sides are all hand pierced with a beautiful gallery and the shank is a split shank with leaf centre.

The central oval cut fire opal is held securely with four claws, to either side are twin brilliant cut diamond shoulders and a pendeloque fire opal. The D shape shank tapers to a fine point meeting the point of the fire opal. Inside the shank there is a full hallmark Assay - Birmingham 1994 Finger size M Can be altered, please contact for size options Supplied in Connards Presentation box Second Hand | Aquamarine single stone ring, with diamond set shoulders. The square cut Aquamarine, is a bright vibrant stone which we have had re-polished. It is held in a 4 claw platinum setting, with an open gallery to view the full depth of the stone. The shoulders are set with 3 x 8 cut diamonds on each side, this is very typical of a ring made circa 1950. The shank joins the setting with chenier tubing in the split. The shank is made from 18ct white gold. The ring is punched with C & F as the makers, a superb firm started in 1917 and we have dealt with them right through their existence until the closed in the early 2000's. The ring also is punched Pt & 18ct for the metal and then an individual number of 5967, this is all a sign of a quality maker. Aquamarine = 4.43cts Maker - Cropp & Farr Individual No. 5967 Aquamarine measures 9.3mm x 9.5mm Finger size O Can be altered, please contact for size options Supplied in Connards Presentation Box Second Hand | The central diamond is surrounded by four diamond points set in very fine millegrain settings. To either side of the central diamond are well matched real pearls, both measuring 3.6mm in diameter. The D shape shank tapers from the pearls and inside the shank are Swedish hallmarks. The ring was made in 1942 and typical of this time the 18ct gold mounting is a lovely rosey colour. Diamond = 0.35cts approx. Maker - Gustav Dahlgren & Co. Emerald cut in shape, and all beautifully mounted in 9ct yellow gold. With a four claw setting, with the elongated claws in the corners. A pierced gallery around the setting and with a slightly tapering shank. The lovely bright cornflower blue sapphire in the centre is flanked by an Edwardian cut diamond on either side, all stones being held in neat twin claw settings made from platinum.
