This is a beautiful multi gemstone spray basket brooch. The variation of Gemstones adds colour and vibrancy to this exquisite piece of jewellery. The different cuts of stones gives variety and interspersed are round white Akoya cultured pearls. All of this is set upon a hand pierced basket made out of 9ct yellow gold with a curving handle set with leaves.
Gemstones are: Garnet, Citrine, Peridot, Aquamarine, Amethyst, Almandine Garnet, Blue Zircon, Green and Pink Tourmalines

The fouled anchor centre is assumed to be platinum surrounded by 15ct gold laurel leaves. On the reverse the pin fastens securely in a handmade rollover safety catch and '15CT' is clearly stamped at the bottom in the centre. The brooch would have been made before 1932, as that is when they stopped using 15ct gold. This was always reserved for the higher quality pieces. Size: 27mm x 25mm Supplied in a Connards Presentation box Second Hand | RAF Wings Regimental brooch in 9ct yellow gold. RAF crest mounted on a green enamelled laurel wreath surmounted by a red enamelled Queen's crown and detailed feathered wings. With the enamelled ROYAL ARMY SERVICE CORPS wording in blue enamel around the lower half. With the Kings Crown and King George VI insignia in the centre. All mounted in 14ct yellow gold and platinum settings for the Rose cut diamonds. This brooch would have been made between 1936 and 1952, and it is secured in place with a handmade Tiffany catch.
