Royal Army Ordnance Corps, regimental brooch in 9ct yellow gold. With blue enamelled Moto and Regiment within the Garter and scroll and central shield bearing the Ordnance Arms with blue, white and red enamelling, and finished with the red enamelled Kings Crown.
Excellent condition for the enamel and craftsmanship. The gold is all with a lovely satinised finish, and is secured with a handmade Tiffany catch.

Mounted in 9ct gold with scalloped sections between each outer citrine. Second hand London 1970 Diameter 3cms | A superb example of one quality Regimental brooch. The Royal Engineers sweetheart brooch with a diamond set laurel wreath surrounding the latin Moto - "Honi Soit Qui Mal Y Pense" all enamelled in blue with Queen Elizabeth II insignia in the centre. Embellished with a white gold crown and red enamel. All made in 9ct white gold and with 9ct yellow gold used around the enamelled parts. This a most beautiful brooch, and originally made and retailed by Garrards of London. It will have been made by the family company of J.W Barrett in Birmingham who specialised in making Regimental Brooches. Hallmarked for Birmingham 1976 Measures 23mm wide x 27mm high Supplied in a Connards Presentation box Second Hand | Fleet Air Arm, regimental brooch, with green enamelled wreath and red enamelled Crown, 9ct gold mount. | The Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders sweetheart bar brooch with very fine hand pierced central 'L' interlaced and reversed of the late Princess Louise. To the left is a boar's head, to the right a wild cat and above the Princess's Royal Ducal Coronet. Below a blue enamel ribbon with "THE ARGYLL & SUTHERLAND HIGHLANDERS". The brooch is mounted in 15ct yellow gold with a platinum faced bar. On the top of the bar it has been stamped "15CT" and to the reverse the pin fastens securely in a safety style C catch. The brooch would have been made before 1932, as that is when they stopped using 15ct gold. This was always reserved for the higher quality pieces and in the case of this brooch it has then been faced with Platinum on top of the bar. The pin is stamped "9CT" for a 9ct yellow gold pin.
