An exquisite sapphire and diamond three stone. The central sapphire is a round cut stone with an incredible colour, this is flanked by a pair of Edwardian cut diamonds just slightly smaller in size than the sapphire. All the stones are held in place with neat double claws in a magnificent C scroll settings that create hearts around the setting. The ring is all in platinum.

The central amethyst is a hexagonal cut and with a rich depth to the colour, this is held neatly in double white gold claws at each point. The amethyst is surrounded by modern brilliant cut diamonds, with the addition of the diamonds on the 6 points being slightly larger than the following 2 diamonds running alongside the edge of the amethyst. The entire setting for all of the stones is 18ct white gold and the shank of the ring is 18ct yellow gold. This in turn is surrounded by a full row of calibre cut emeralds with a larger square cut emerald at 2,4,8 and 10. The larger square calibre gives that extra detail which helps to make this such an exquisite ring and typical of a ring made in the 1930s. All the settings are very fine millegrain. There are very fine diamond set shoulders with 2 eight cut diamonds set neatly in to the shoulders.
